Terri Watson - Hi, I’m from Mt Kokeby just outside of Beverley. I am joining the pclessons.net team for a couple of reasons.

The first is that the country areas miss out on a lot of basic needs and there are a lot of people who would like to learn about the basics of computing, but the opportunities to learn are very limited.

The second is that I know many people are using their computers only for games and the occasional surf on the net, and are frustrated at not being able to fully explore the uses of their unit.
All the hype about using the PC for everything from organising the budget, printing off information for the local sports club and helping the kids with their homework is not as easy to learn on your own as you first thought. Most people in the country really only have the same choice as I did a few years ago, and that was to do a course via correspondence. This can be an expensive way to go, and not much is tailored to what the individual wants to learn.
With the correspondence course I undertook and assistance from a couple of friends (John & Glen); I am now able to solve many PC problems, install Operating Sytems, other software and additional hardware. However, my aim is to coach you in the basics of computing, to 'Show You' how to get the use out of your computer that you paid for.
As with most of us in the country; time is limited, as such I offer lessons in basic computing with each session will being tailored to your needs.
Pricing:
Technology coaching is available in the Beverley region (from York to
Brookton & surrounding areas); either during the day or in the evening.
Due to the absorbing nature of computing, it is recommended that sessions
be of 2 to 3 hours duration, however 1 hour may be sufficient depending
on what you require assistance with - Confidentiality is assured.
Coaching is priced at $20* per hour
and depending on travel time, I may ask for reimbursement of petrol costs.
Please note - Fees are negotiable depending on your individual requirements
- *20% pensioner concession is also available (concession
card required).
